There are few sounds as calming as the sound of wind through long grass.

Ok, so am I allowed to gush over here? Because I want to go on for daaays about how sweet Olivia and Joey are! I loved photographing their wedding - and not just because of the peaceful Chickamauga, GA mountain setting! (Although I could 100% have laid down in that grass and read a book all afternoon.)

First off, their wedding was on their seventh dating anniversary. (How many of us get to say that?!) They were so comfortable with each other and that feeling spread into their entire wedding day!

It's been a while since I've been to a wedding that felt so peaceful. Fun? Exciting? Yes. Nearly every wedding I've been to has felt so exciting and joyful that at the end I simply fall into the car, happy and exhausted. But theirs' felt like you could just stay all day, talking and visiting and generally filling your cup with good company.

The breeze winding through the trees and whispering through the long grass that surrounded their ceremony in, combined with warm sun and good food, definitely added to the ambiance! It was an absolutely lovely day that embodied Olivia and Joey as a couple, in my opinion.
