I've always felt that it is a truly special thing to be able to capture the best moments for people that feel like family.

I've known Shelby since she was a little baby and I nearly cried as she came down the aisle! She is such a beautiful person in every way and is obviously adored by Cade - who just happens to be one of the sweetest gentleman you will ever meet!

Shelby and Cade wanted a relaxed wedding, centered on their family and friends. With that in mind, they chose an afternoon ceremony at Shelby's parent's farm, the Windy Knoll Farm, with plenty of loved ones. And it. Was. Stunning! The Windy Knoll Farm looks like a storybook farm, complete with fluffy chickens, soft bunnies, and gentle cows. (For more adorable cows, check out their Engagement Session!)The skies were clear blue and, true to the farm name, the breezes were abundant!

When I walked in the house, Shelby and her girls were happily chatting away, making food, and enjoying each other's company. Her mama and I chatted as she whipped up mouthwatering desserts. (I come from a big family, so I loved the cheerful hum of activity!) Once Cade and his boys arrived, they found their way to the barn where they stayed (mostly) tucked away until it was their turn for portraits.

Shelby loves lavender and little touches of it could be found all over - on the invitations, in the bouquets and flower arrangements, on the cake - they even threw dried lavender for their daytime exit in lieu of sparklers! Afterward, Cade and Shelby snuck away for some glowing golden-hour portraits before finally heading off on their honeymoon.

To get the look she wanted, Shelby deckled the invitations herself and even hand lettered each envelope! Aren't they stunning?!

loved Shelby's 'something blue' - a pair of dusty blue suede heels that were both classy and whimsical!

Shelby chose different dresses in styles that would flatter each of her bridesmaids, while keeping them in the same soft blush pallet. The effect was so stunning!

A First Look with her dad, Kyle. I'm such a sappy person, but I love Daddy-Daughter First Looks (let's be real, I love First Looks of every kind!).

How cool is Cade's unique ring? While a simple gold band will always be a much-loved classic, I am totally on board for this trend!

What an awesome Bridal Party this was! Thanks, guys! Y'all were great!

Shelby's mama, Crystal, made the yummiest banana pudding for the reception - with real whipped cream!

Congratulations, Shelby + Cade! I can't wait to see what God has in store for this new chapter in your lives!

Love,

Shanle
