A romantic castle and a fun, easygoing couple makes for an evening well spent in my books!
Have you ever had that moment where you're listening to someone tell a story and they are so spilling-over-full of joy and excitement that you feel like you were there with them? That's how I felt listening to Brady and Amanda recount their proposal story while we slowly strolled around the most beautiful 'castle' on THE most picturesque December day. (Seriously, there were even adorable little flocks of birds flying from one turret to the next over our heads!)
Brady knocked it out of the park by taking Amanda back to the ice skating rink where they first started to fall in love, where he pretended to fall while skating before hopping up on one knee and popping the question! (I might have squealed a bit when I saw the video. Maybe.)
Brady and Amanda are one of those couples who just naturally gravitate towards each other with the comfortable ease of two people who have known each other for years. Amanda is also fellow wedding photographer, and while I normally would have an extra layer of nerves while photographing another photographer (the pressure and responsibility, y'all!), she was so sweet and genuinely excited that my heart immediately melted! It felt very much like photographing an old friend and I'm so honored that she and Brady chose me as their photographer. I loved getting to know these two high school sweethearts in person and I can't wait for their wedding this spring!
