There is a certain kind of joy I feel when I get to see couples that I've photographed before.

It's a comfortable, excited sort of feeling that I get about documenting another chapter in their lives. I know so many things about them already, which gives an immediate sense of comfortability, but I'm so excited to hear about all the new things that have happened since I spoke with them last!

Shelby and Ryan are such a sweet couple, both towards each other and towards others. They talked about Ryan's hunting plans, their sweet pups, and spending cozy fall weekends in the mountains together. Each naturally gravitates towards the other as we walk along the trails, stopping here and there for photos, and Ryan's eyes get happy crinkles when he smiles at his wife.

To me, this is a perfect way to spend a fall evening.
