"Having come from a large family myself, I love photographing big families."
Y'all, I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Krista and Randy for this session. After our first session was unexpectedly rained out less than five minutes in by a pop-up thunderhead, we rescheduled for what I thought was a 'safe' date. Little did we know this weekend would contain the hottest three days of the year!
"Family sessions tend to be a bit loud and fast-paced, especially when you have a baby in the mix!"
Despite the heat, Krista, Randy, their kiddos were total troopers and lasted to the very end of their summer family session - which, it just so happens, is part of a special project I've been working on all year long! (More on that later.) Having come from a large family myself, I love photographing big families like Krista and Randy's. Let me tell you, their kiddos are so sweet, friendly, and well behaved that I love spending time with them!
"Krista and Randy graciously refrained from laughing at the multiple renditions of the 'chicken dance' I preformed."
B, the oldest, talked to me at length about a Zelda game that he plays (which my daughter C also happens to play) and absolutely every kiddo wanted a photo with their littlest sister, E! (It's really sweet how much they adore her.) Family sessions tend to be a bit loud and fast-paced, especially when you have a baby in the mix, but Krista and Randy graciously refrained from laughing at the multiple renditions of the 'chicken dance' I preformed in an effort to get little E to smile. All in all, it was a great session!
Krista + Randy,
Thank you! I had an absolute blast with your family this summer and I can't wait to see you for your next session!
