I think we chose the busiest Saturday possible to visit Vickery Creek Falls and the Roswell Mill.

Despite the number of people there, everyone was super polite and patient, which made the experience much nicer. Besides, how could I not be happy when I got to spend the evening with Radhika and Ajay and their girls! Their family is so sweet and joyful that you can't help but enjoy the time spent with them.

Anyone who has spent a decent amount of time around little children knows that, while they are comfortable with the friends and family in their sphere, most toddlers are wary of people that they don't see on a semi regular basis, like, say, their family photographer. (I call this 'stranger danger' mode.) While little A is definitely a more outgoing kiddo, it still caught me off guard when, towards the end of the session, she ran up to me and gave me the biggest hug! My heart completely melted into a puddle at her feet.

Wearing the cheesiest grin possible, she ran back to her dad, posed for 0.5 seconds, and then raced back to me, her sister in tow, and tackled me with another hug. This became our game for the rest of the evening. Needless to say, we (the adults) couldn't stop laughing! I felt thoroughly honored to be the recipient of several dozen toddler hugs and I'm looking forward to the next time I get to see Radhika, Ajay, and their girls!
